• Valley of Flowers trek is opened to public on 1st June every year. The park remains open from the month of June to October.   
• Start early from Ghangharia to have more time at hand when you are in the Valley of Flowers. It is a world heritage site and therefore you need to enter your names in the register, pay the entry fees and declare all plastic bottles you are carrying along.
• Entry to Valley of Flowers opens at 7.00 am every day and last entry is allowed till 2.00 pm. You should start back around 1 pm so as to reach back by 5.00 pm.
• Carry extra pair of Socks, Torch, Poncho/Raincoats, Extra Batteries for your Camera
• Though the Valley is beautiful in May, June and September. But for maximum number of flowers in July and August are most preferred months.
• Tourists should inquire about the weather and road conditions especially during the monsoons, before planning their trip to Valley of Flowers.

Spread over 87.5 sq km, the bio-diversity hotspot is known for its scenic beauty comprising alpine shrubs and meadows, milky white streams, snow-clad peaks and pristine air. Located in the upper reaches of Bhyundar valley near Joshimath in Chamoli district of Gharwal region, the rolling landscape of the national park stands in stark contrast to the rugged mountain wilderness of Nanda Devi National Park to the east. Of all the Himalayan meadows and flower valleys, nothing compares to Garhwal's unique rock garden, the Valley of Flowers, full of the most fascinating, fabulous, and rich variety of flowering herbs. According to the legends, the Valley of Flowers has been associated spiritually with the name of 'Hanuman',  the legendary hero of Ramayana, the great Indian epic. One can also take most adventurous Old Trek route from Hanumnachatti to Valley of flowers.

First bought to limelight in 1931 when Frank Smythe, a British naturalist and mountaineer, who after scaling Kamet peak, stumbled upon it by chance. Later on, Smythe , assisted by  Englands eminent botanist R.L.Holdsworth, explored the valley extensively. Now, to restore the natural balance and conserve this natural heritage, the Valley of Flowers and its environs are declared as Pushpavati National Park. 

Enjoy 3 nights trip exploring the famous Valley of Flowers and Hemkund, one of the finest high altitude Himalayan lakes in the region covering 7km trail from road head pulna to Bhyundar village is best of natures scenic with waterfall and huge laxman ganga river roaring on left.  One will encounter with small tea magi stalls on trek route. From Bhyundar till bridge point its steep and zig zag trek. From Bridge we have to cross the left bank now till helipad which is 2km steeper hard trek with some sleepy point too. After reaching helipad just 1km small hike to reach Ghangaria that is Base camp of Valley of Flowers and Hemkund

Day 1 : Dehradun/Rishikesh - Joshimath 
leave for Joshimath by car. On the way visit Rudra prayag where Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers meet. On arrival at Joshimath, check in hotel. Dinner & Night Halt.

Day 2 : Joshimath - Ghangaria 
Early morning we leave from Joshimath for Govindghat, which is the starting point for the trek. From Govindghat there is a gradual ascent along a well - maintained pilgrim trail to the camp at Ghangaria - the base from where day walks can be made into the valley of flowers. After a light breakfast, 14 km trek up to Ghangaria. Dinner & Night halt Hotel. ( All meals at Hotel). 

Day 3 : Ghangaria - Valley Of Flowers - Ghangaria
After breakfast 4 km trek to Valley Of Flowers (3858 m ) from Ghangaria. The valley is an enchanting sight with an impressive array of rare wildflowers like brahma kamal, fane Kamal with range of small multicolored flowers make it a delight for travelers. The snowclad peaks including Nilgiri Parbat (6474 m) stand in bold relief against the skyline. The valley is 10 kms long, 2 kms wide, and is divided by the Pushpawati stream, into which several tiny streams and waterfalls merge. After enjoying the beauty of valley we come back to Ghangaria. Dinner & Night halt at Hotel. ( Pack lunch and dinner ).

Day 4 : Ghangaria - Hemkundsahib - Ghangaria 
After breakfast 6 km trek to Hemkundsahib (4329 m) from Ghangaria. This is quite a steep climb. In the Sikh holy book, the Granth Sahib, the Sikh Guru Gobind Singh recounts that in a previous life, he meditated on the shores of a lake surrounded by seven snowcapped mountains now recognized by Hemkund. We visit Lake & Gurudwara. Again 6 km trek back to Ghangaria. Dinner & Night halt Hotel. ( All meals ) 

or Day 4 :: Those who are not interested to visit Hemkund can make visit again to the Valley Of flowers Deeper part to get more flowers etc...late noon back to Hotel.

* Hemkund yatra is closed at the moment, we are operting Auli Gorson trip or Chopta Chandershilla trek instead of this.

Day 5 : Ghangaria - Joshimath 
After breakfast leave for Govindghat on the trek of 14 kms and reach govindghat be afternoon and drive back to Joshimath after that. check in hotel on arrival and relax. One can also visit Auli in the evening  (Separate cost for Auli Visit). Overnight at hotel. ( breakfast and lunch ). 

Day 6: Joshimath -Rishikesh- Dehradun
Early morning we leave with packed breakfast from Joshimath for Haridwar. On the way visit Devprayag and Rishikesh. Arrive Haridwar.
