Kuari Pass Trek is situated in Garwhal Himalayas.Hike the enchanting trails of Kuari Pass Trek, one of the most popular treks in Indian Himalayas.
For Kuari Pass and Pangarchula Peak Trek cost, itinerary.  On the Kuari Pass trek, trekking average most probably of 4-5 hours every day, except the pass crossing day which will be 8 hours long. The Kuari pass means the Doorway.

DAY 01: DELHI - RISHIKESH (230 KMS/6 HRS)
After having breakfast morning drive towards Rishikesh passing through Haridwar,have some glimpses enroute.Upon arrival in Rishikesh.You are met & transferred to your pre-booked hotel.Evening free at leisure.Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

DAY 02: RISHIKESH - AULI (260 KMS/8-9 HRS)
After breakfast early in the morning,drive towards Auli (2750m) via most popular confluences of this region like Devprayag,Rudraprayag,Karnprayag and Nandprayag.Taking Lunch enroute.Upon arrival at Auli.Check in to your pre-booked hotel.Dinner inhouse.Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03: AULI - CHITRAKANTHA (3310 MTS/10857 FT) 15 KMS/6-7 HRS
After taking breakfast we start trekking from Auli,There is an ultimate view of Nanda Devi Peak. While trekking, we will have enroute a glimpses of famous BUGYAL(MEADOWS) of Gorson and an entire range of Nanda devi sanctuary can be seen from here as well. Dinner in house Overnight at Tented Accommodation/Camps.

DAY 04: CHITRAKANTHA - KUARIPASS (3640 MTS/11940 FT) -
DAKHWANI ( 3300 MTS/10824 FT) 14 KMS/5 HRS
After an early breakfast, start trekking towards Dakhwani through Lord Curzon Train Kauri Pass this is very interesting and adventurous. Dinner and Overnight at Tents.

DAY 05: DAKHWANI - PANA (2450 MTS/8036 FT) 14 KMS/5-6 HRS
After having an early morning breakfast, trek to Pana.We will have glimpses of lush green meadows, water falls,snow clad mountains.Dinner and overnight at Tents.

DAY 06: PANA - RAMNI (2550 MTS/8364 FT) 17 KMS/5-6 HRS
In the morning after breakfast we will trek to Ramni village. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

DAY 07: RAMNI - GHAT (1330 MTS/4363 FT) 15 KMS TREK/4 HRS - SRINAGAR (110 KMS/03 HRS)
After having an early morning breakfast trekdown to Ghat.later proceed towards Srinagar.Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

DAY 08: SRINAGAR - RISHIKESH (100 KMS/3 1/5 HRS)
After breakfast drive down to Rishikesh. Upon arrival in Rishikesh, check into your pre-booked hotel evening free to visit Holy Ghats etc. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 09 : RISHIKESH- DELHI
After breakfast drive to Delhi . Lunch enroute. Upon arrival In Delhi,departure transferred to your desired destination (Airport /Railway station) to Board flight /Train for your onwards journey.
 

Trekking Option II :  Pangarchulla peak climbing with kuari pass trek

Pangarchulla Peak - Moderate - 4575 m

Spring is the best time to trek through to the Pangarchulla peak. Low altitude peak, Pangarchulla peak is good introductory climb for novice trekkers. The amazing views of the surrounding snow capped high mountains makes it popular destination. Trip to Pangarchulla peak offers less challenges with loads of photo opportunities of the panoramic views.

Pangarchulla is a gorgeous mountaineering destination in the spring when the snow has accumulated after winters. It is a simple low elevation peak and serves as a perfect firt climb for amateurs. Trekkers can experience the crispy morning snow with astounding visions of the high mountains. As you trek further you come across woods of oak and rhododendron to reach meadows of Gorson. From here the path climbs down from steep ravines to the woods where you can camp by Tali, a miniscule water body. More on the moderate side, this trek is for the undemanding. Also the trek offers good chances to take pictures as it is covered with breath taking landscapes of majestic peaks of several famed peaks including Nanda Devi. This trek extends on a reasonable gradient on the north face of the mountain slopes with extraordinary views of the high mountains. Take a short trek, which will take you to the advanced base camp. Enjoy tenting and campfire in the Himalayan panorama! Thereafter, trek down to Tapovan, where the trek ends.
 

Major attractions:

Nanda Devi temple: Very old temple is made with stones. This 18th century temple is set in Almora. It is dedicated to Goddess Nanda Devi, the supporter goddess of the Chand rajas. Nanda Devi is the only souvenir which survives today. During the month of September, the fair is held in Almora.

Tapovan: All tourists like to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, to a tranquil ambiance. Tapovan is the place where you can trail with nature. Here you will be stopped by the majestic view of the places around. The clear and exciting and breath taking sight of rising sun can be seen.

Pangarchulla Peak Climb

Maximum Altitude : 4575- Mtrs
Best Time to visit : Mar- June
Grade : Moderate Trek
Duration : (09 days/08 nights)

Pangarchulla becomes a beautiful climbing objective in the spring after having accumulated all the winter snow. An easy low peak which gives a good feel of a climb-plodding the crisp morning snow with amazing views of high mountains. This trip offers enough challenge and loads of opportunity to click photographs.


Day 01- Delhi – Rishikesh – 238 Kms( Drive 6/7 Hrs)
Arrive Rishikesh. Transfer to Hotel. overnight  Hotel.


Day 02– Drive to  Joshimath. 274 Kms. (9 hrs)
Dinner and OVERNIGHT at the Hotel in, Joshimath.

Day 03: Joshimath - Tali (3310m) 5-6 hrs
Take the cable car up to the ski slopes of Auli (2750m). From Auli one gets to see a distinct profile of Nanda Devi at the head of the sanctuary. The walk takes one through the forests of oak and rhododendron to reach meadows of Gorson. From here the trail descends steepily down to the forest and we camp by a small water body at Tali. Overnight at Camp.


Day 04: Tali to Khulara (3395m) via the Kuari Pass 5-6 hrs
Today the trail ascends the ridge above Tali and cairns marks our track. Just below the pass, the trail leads through a large meadow affording spectacular views of the Himalayas. North of Joshimath is the Chaukhamba range, Nilkanth (6596m) and Narayan Parbat (5965m), while Mana peak (7272m),Kamet (7756m) and Abi Gamin (7355m) extend to the Tibetan border. In the middle foreground, the main Himalayan chain in the vicinity of the Bhyundar valley and Hem Kund includes Nilgiri Parbat (6474m), Rataban (6166m), Ghori Parbat (6708m) and Hathi Parbat (6727m). Dunagairi (7066m) dominates the peaks to the north of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. The Kuari pass (3840m) is by no means demanding – we have our lunch here and then descend an hour to the base camp at Khulara.


Day 05 : Climb to Pangarchulla peak.
Wake up early to be up on the summit to see the sunrise on wide Himalayan panorama. Loads of opportunity to click photographs! The walk up to the summit would take a couple of hours and we descend to be in time for hot lunch at base camp. Evening is complemented by bonfire and dinner. Back to Camp at Khulara

Day 06: Khulara – Tapovan (1905m) 4-5 hrs and drive to Joshimath
The last day of the climb is all the way down to the Tapovan. It’s about 1 hours drive from here to the comforts of The Chardham Camp, Joshimath.


Day 07 : Joshimath –  Rishikesh Drive. Drive to Rishikesh.

option to stay at river beach camp on Ganges and next day rafting trips.

Day 08 - Drive to Delhi.
